Unlike many Mindfulness classes, we will not be sitting down with our eyes shut. The entire session will be done with defocused gaze and feet on the ground.
By doing so it exercises both body and mind. In this way body is relaxed, allowing Qi and blood flow. The Qi, which is the vital energy that flows through our bodies is unblocked to eliminate blockages such as trapped emotions and muscular tightness. With this comfortable body enable the mind to stay focus.
Blocked Qi is caused by constricted blood vessels and may lead to agitation, aches, tightness in the body, lethargy, and tiredness.
What do we use to cleanse the blood vessels? Using the analogy of a dirty bottle without a bottle brush, how do we clean the bottle? We could fill it up with water and shake it up and down to clear the stains and dirt. The upward and downward movement of the water automatically cleans the bottle.
Our Mindfulness Workout theory is the same. Certain up and down movements stimulate the blood flow in opposite direction which cleanses the blood vessels and unblocks the Qi.
