“I am a teacher and I have been experiencing an ache in my shoulder since students started coming for consultation in September.
The table used is wide and I am short so I have to stretch out to the student opposite me to write and explain. This is how the shoulder discomfort developed. I stretch my arm regularly so the pain was bearable. But after a long time the problem was still there.
Last night, after the 3 sets of exercise, I rushed home to bathe and put my mother to sleep. I didn’t feel any discomfort.
This morning I woke up ... after washing up, hmmmm... eh how come there’s no need to stretch to loosen my shoulders? I checked by twisting and bending . Hmmm no discomfort. Ah hah! it must be the stretching from last night’s session!
Is it just coincidence or does the qigong really help? It must be the latter. I’m glad the shoulder discomfort is not there anymore. Especially since intensive consultation season is going to start again soon.
I joined the qigong class with a ‘try out and see’ attitude. Now I am going to seriously practice it.”
