“Breathing is the secret of life. Be friendly to our breath and it can do wonders for us.”
Ti Lee
A Journal To Unravel Through A Lifetime of Ti’s emotions.

Ti struggled with anxiety and pressure while managing her chain of Food & Beverage business. At her peak, she managed and owned 4 restaurants and had franchises in Singapore & Malaysia.

Being successful and having money certainly did not fill the void in her heart. Despite having them, She felt dissatisfied. Chance upon loving kindness, she found herself able to heal a strained relationship. This experience piqued her interest in spirituality.

From 1992-1997, she found her self practice routines to be insufficient. This then probed her to go for retreats. Setting aside time, despite the demanding nature of running a business and fulfilling her responsibilities as a mother, she embarked on a journey to unravel the inner workings of her mind.

In 1997, she went on her first retreat ~ a 21-day intensive VIPASSANA (insight meditation) in Burma. This first retreat had her face her mind and body “head-on”. Her body was filled with aches and pains. She also realized that many of her issues and unhappiness were cause by her own expectations and wants.

She saw that she had the tendency to always want to win and the jealousy and quick-tempered in her. Seeing the ugliness during this retreat, she made a vow to herself to clear her insanity.

Most city dwellers understand the benefits of spiritual mindfulness but do not have the luxury of time nor the stamina for the traditional approach to this training which requires physical and mental endurance. Ti has skillfully culled from her many years of experience (from intense practice to lift the mind-Samadha and Vipassana cultivation) with Pilates and Qigong exercise to put together a structured program to learn and practice spiritual mindfulness.

Anchored on the breath, and interspersed with mindful body movements, she finds this unique combination of meditation, exercise and breath, a more palatable way to mastering spiritual mindfulness.

In 2017, as she progressed over the years in my inward exploration, one of my learned teachers encouraged her to share her programmed “Qigong with Mindfulness”

Today at 59 years old, she has a renewed sense of purpose to share her programmed. Having experience how this unique combination has improved her life tremendously, she is dedicated to spread the practice for life to blossom again for everyone.

However, reclaiming our center, our equilibrium, grounding the wander mind, can be hard work.

Why ? To begin with, the mind does not like meditating. For the novice especially, the mind struggles more than it normally would, weakening our will and discouraging us in our practice.

From my experience, I have created a program 'Qigong with Mindfulness' is a practice that reduces tension and thoughts so that we can meditate more comfortably. This is done by pausing before the change of breath. This unusual step gives the mind something to focus on- making use of breath to synchronize body and mind. Thus reducing racing thoughts, fabrications.

This is an easy program that encourage and strengthen our spiritual mindfulness practice.

Our goal is to reduce thoughts, reduce emotions respectively. So that we can handle the daily challenges in life.
